People attending plumbing courses in Worcester received some good news this week, as a company that went into administration has been taken over by a rival.

It has been more than two months since bathrooms and plumbing organisation Orillo went out of business, but Cambabest has now bought the firm and its general manager Toby Griffin told Worcester News that customers may be familiar with the set up.

He explained that he intends on taking on many of the employees who used to work at Orillo, some of whom may have completed plumbing courses.

"We heard Orillo had gone into administration but a little too late to buy the company outright, so we bought the assets. It is an expansion for us," he was quoted as saying.

This week, online resource Voxy urged consumers to use only licensed plumbers when they need to get a problem fixed, since un-licensed workers may affect a house's insurance coverage.
