Tradespersons who have approved electrical qualifications or taken plumbing courses may benefit from a contract recently won by Shepherd FM to carry out technical services at Twickenham Stadium.
Home of the England rugby union team, the ground has recently expanded its capacity to 82,000. Currently into its centenary year, it is expected that in addition to welcoming thousands of rugby fans, music-lovers and businessmen will also visit the stadium for concerts and its conference facilities.
Neil Theuma from the Rugby Football Union commented that the technical ability of the group's employees was a main reason in awarding Shepherd FM the contract "given the high-profile nature of the stadium and the volume of visitors that pass through our gates".
The announcement could demonstrate to tradespersons who have taken plumbing or electrical courses that top-quality skills and approved qualifications are extremely important when assigning people work.
First hosting a match in 1909, Twickenham is now the world's biggest dedicated rugby venue in the world.
