Here at Able Skills we run a large variety of electrical courses, however, for those looking to start on the path towards a career in this professional the first step is most definitely our Introduction to Basic Domestic Electrics! This course will give you the fundamentals over a period of 10-days and will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to undertake a domestic electrical installation safely and test the installation accordingly. Our instructors are experts on the subject and will give you confidence and trust in your basic ability upon completion. At the start, we will provide you with an induction folder which is packed with all the information you will require to safely undertake electrical work - Which will come in handy if you decide to definitively move forward in a career as a Domestic Installer.
Upon completion of this course there are a few options in front of you and it depends on the type of work that you want to do as an electrician - If you want continue down the path of Domestic Installer then the Domestic Electrical Part-P Package is what you are looking for this course will provide you with further more advanced knowledge and skills in this particular area of electrics. However, if you are interested in being able to work on projects outside of a domestic setting then you should be looking at our Gold Card Approved Electrician Course!

This Introduction to Basic Domestic Electrics Course is City & Guilds recognised which means that upon successful completion of the course you will receive a certificate. - The cost is £790 including VAT. A deposit of £300 will secure a booking and the balance can be paid over 2 instalments from the start of the course. We also would like to recommend that you get yourself a copy of IET Electricians Guide to the Building Regulations – 3rd Edition which can be found on Amazon and other retailers for around £10!
