There are plenty of reasons to switch careers to become a Gas Engineer. The opportunities speak for themselves and with this new activity throughout the country engineers' earnings are rising sharply. Of course starting out your earnings will depend on your level of experience and reputation. New engineers' could earn up to £30,000 a year, whereas very talented and successful gas engineers can earn up to £50,000 a year.
This figure can change massively when you factor in the ability to work on a self-employed basis and the ability to start your own business. If you run your own business, which is a very real prospect for many in the gas trade, then these figures could significantly increase.

Becoming a qualified Gas Engineer is not easy. The process requires somebody who is dedicated to learning. They will need an environment that have experience teaching the trade like ours. We aim to make the process from novice to professional as straightforward as possible. We do this through targeted training options that focus on helping completely new entrants.
Our Gas Training for Beginners course includes 7-weeks of intensive training both practical and theory based, portfolio completion and an ACS assessment! These are all of the elements needed in order to start a professional career in Gas. During the initial 7-weeks is where you will be at our centre gaining hands-on skills, learning under-pinning theory knowledge and be guided by one of our expert instructors.

After the peak of the pandemic people realised how unstable their employment can be. And 2021 brought with it a huge shift in peoples perspective. We have been very busy helping people learn new skills and create a foundation for their new careers. If you are interested in becoming a Gas Engineer, you can get started in January!
We offer both a full-time option and a part-time option for our students allowing you to either take on the full 7-weeks in one go or learn around an existing job. Our weekend option works on a 2-weekends a month basis and results in the exact same industry-recognised qualifications.
