Jason has been a superb student for the last five weeks at Able Skills. He’s now coming towards the end of his six-week Tiling Course Package City & Guilds 4555-07. He’s developed his skills during his time here. And, considering he’d never done tiling before this course, it’s a huge achievement for him.
Throughout the course he’s picked up many vital skills that have put him well on his way to starting his new tiling career. All the new skills he’s picked up are relevant to what he wants to do, which is a very positive step in the right direction. And he’s worked hard, which also helps.
Like most of our students, Jason had some very nice words to say about the tutors. He was full of praise for Max, describing his teaching methods as ‘spot on’. When we asked if the tutors could have done anything better, he said that it would have been tough for them to give more to their students.
Good feedback like this from students highlights how lucky we are to have great instructors at Able Skills. They really try to help their students settle in and get to know them, so that they get the most out of their tiling course.
This is the first course that Jason has completed with us at Able Skills. As it’s a Level 2 tiling course, it means he is able to go on and complete his Level 2 NVQ. He was very optimistic about this because it enables him to become a professional tiler, giving him the best start to becoming a self employed tradesman.
As we offer both the City & Guilds qualifications and the NVQ, it gives students the chance to progress their learning and qualifications further. This makes Able Skills a great place to kick start your tiling career.
Recommendations are one great way students find out about our courses. Jason has already recommended us to one of his friends, which just shows how confident he is that we’re able to pass on our skills to willing learners.
We love to know our students future plans here at Able Skills and Jason has big aspirations for his future career. He plans to create his very own full-time tiling business. Thanks to Able Skills he will now have the qualifications and knowledge to do this.
We would like to wish Jason all the best for the future and hope he comes back soon.
