It’s not very often we have a student that attempts so many courses, but Margery has done just that and she has shown great ambition through each course!
Margery has completed Carpentry, Kitchen Fitting, Plumbing and she is currently working on a Tiling course and she doesn’t plan to stop there, with plans to do further plumbing courses and maybe a plastering course.
When considering her career, Margery decided to enter the construction industry and thought of no better way than to start a handy women business. In the process of building up her business she had looked around for centres that will be able to offer her the right training and she decided to go with us at Able Skills in Dartford (did we mention she is based in Glasgow!)
After completing so many courses, I asked Margery what was her favourite course?
She wasn’t able to choose as she had enjoyed each one and was extremely happy with how much she was able to learn as a beginner. Also, Margery had only good comments for all of her instructors during her time here, she said ‘All instructors were great and made the courses very enjoyable.’

Margery has successfully got her business up and running with the name ‘Handy Perfections’, she already has a handful of staff and they are also training at Able Skills thanks to the great recommendation of Margery.
As the business is up and running and already a success, Margery is now looking further into the future as she says she wants to complete even more training at Able Skills. It is really nice to hear that one of our students is their skills to start a new career for themselves and be successful.
