As you may or may not already know, Able Skills launched another New Entrants Gas Training Course this week. Being one of our most comprehensive Gas Training Courses we offer, students will learn exactly what they can expect from the real world from scratch over the course of 7 weeks.
Being just their first week at Able Skills, we thought it would be a great idea to get their honest first impressions of the course which include how they're finding it and just some general impressions of the course as a whole.
Tom Bruce was the first person we asked to see what he thought of the course and it's safe to say he is satisfied thus far. He said 'it's good that it's very hands on' and what we liked the most from Tom was that he said 'you learn both by the book as well as tips and tricks of the trade'. Our Gas Training Courses deliver training that will really get you a head start in the working world and we're not interested in only getting you qualified and that's it. Our Gas Courses are designed to give you an edge when working on site or for yourself.
Next we spoke to student Steve Martin who also explained how impressed he was to learn tips and tricks of the trade with it only being their 4th day on the course. He went on to say that the 'facilities are excellent' and that the course is 'full on and the practical side is really good'. Students learn both the theory and practical sides of what it takes to be a full qualified gas engineer on the New Entrants Gas Training Package. The 7 weeks will take students through both aspects before ultimately undergoing their ACS Exams further down the line.
Following on from what both Tom and Steve have said, we also spoke to Richard Roberts who told us, 'we get stuck into it straight away' and 'we're taught certain things to make it easier'. It's good to know that more than one student has similar views and it's even better to know that they've all had a good first few days on the course!
