Student's opinions on new-entrant Gas Packages!
Here are Able Skills we are experts in teaching the trade of Gas and we try our best to provide the best experience we can on our Gas courses, why not get involved as a new entrant? We suggest to students that they take on the New-entrants Gas Training Package 2 is that this particular package includes everything you need! What we mean by this is that upon completion of this course you will have all of the elements needed in order to register with the Gas Safe Register - which is a legal requirement when attempting to carry out gas work in the UK, Guernsey and Isle of Man. The course includes 7-weeks of intense training, portfolio completion and an ACS assessment!
We currently have 5-spaces available for our New-entrants Gas Training Package 2 starting Monday 13th April 2020!
Gas is a great trade to get involved with, there is a lot of opportunity out there for Gas Engineers. The older generation are retiring, leaving room for new confident gas engineers to take up the large volume of work that is out there. This is not just a trade that can be worked in a domestic setting, the job can be varied and you could be working in any setting that requires Gas; retail, industrial, schools, businesses and much more!
Gas is a serious commodity and is serious work, small faults could cause huge problems so you’ll need to have a keen eye and great attention to detail as well as interpersonal skills as you will be working alongside other engineers or talking to clients - especially if you are looking to work on a self-employed basis which is what makes the trade attractive to most aspiring Gas Engineers!
