Our training centre is still open and we will be continuing to operate as usual during this second lockdown period as a place of education. We have made many changes to the way that we teach our Plumbing courses and other training options to ensure that we are presenting a space for people to learn and develop their skills whilst feeling safe. Plumbing courses are very popular at our centre and even more so now with the rise of unemployment due to coronavirus. There are plenty of people seeking new opportunities and looking to gain valuable trade skills they can rely on. Having a trade like Plumbing under your belt means that you always have something to fall back on, this industry is not going anywhere and there is a demand for professional workers. Interested in learning the trade of Plumbing? Here at Able Skills we have been teaching comprehensive Plumbing courses for almost 20-years now and we know what goes into giving somebody the knowledge, experience and ability to enter the industry feeling confident that they have a high-level of training behind them. The training tha6 we provide is very hands-on focusing on a mix of both theory lessons taught within a classroom and hands-on practical experience in our workshops. If you have a limited amount of knowledge on the topic of plumbing but are confident that you want to start a career in the trade then our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing course is great option. This course is 6-weeks and will effectively teach you to become a professional plumber from scratch, firstly looking at the basics like pipe-work and bending before progressing to more advanced aspects and the weeks move forward. Currently the next available dates for this course are the 22nd March and 19th April!

We are very busy at the moment not just due to delay coronavirus has caused but generally there are many people looking for training opportunities with all the uncertainty surrounding employment and the loss of jobs. However, you can get started right now with our Level 2 Home-Study option! This is a fantastic training option that allows you to get started from the comfort of your own home. This course works by replacing the instructor with our specially crafted 'Home-Study Pack' for the theory side of the qualification before attending the centre at a later date to learn the practical side of the trade and complete the relevant assessments. This is a great way to earn the exact same qualification starting at home during lockdown.
