A library in the East Riding of Yorkshire is set to close for over three months while engineers with electrical courses and other training refurbish the facility.
Andrea Wake, community and information officer at North Ferriby Library, told the Hull Daily Mail it is a busy centre that is used by different age groups.
But the area will have to do without the facility from December 22nd, as tradesmen with professional qualifications such as electrical courses will be brought in to make improvements.
"Our refurbishment will provide more efficient heating and lighting. It will be better for the people who work there and for the people who use it," Ms Wake was quoted as saying.
