The City & Guilds Home Study Level 2 Electrical Course
Have you heard of a home study course that allows you to start working on site as an Electrician before? No? The City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Course
Currently being taught on a full time basis, we also offer a home study option for the Level 3 too. Many students who undergo this course have previously completed our Level 2 and there's a several good reasons for this which are evident in what you'll be taught below:
- 301 - Level 3 Understand the fundamental principles and requirements of environmental technology systems, assessed by way of an online exam
- 302 - Level 3 Principles of Electrical Science, assessed by way of a 2 hour written exam and a short practical task
- 303 - Level 3 Electrical Installations: Fault Diagnosis and Rectification, assessed by way of online exam and a practical assessment
- 304 - Level 3 Electrical Installations: Inspection, Testing and Commissioning, assessed by way of online exam, a practical assessment and a 2 hour written exam
- 305 - Level 3 Electrical Systems Design, assessed by a written design assignment and an online exam
- 308 - Level 3 Career awareness in building services engineering, assessed by a written assignment and a short answer exam.
18th Edition Course
The 18th Edition Course, otherwise known as the latest wiring regulations is another course that's continuously taught at Able Skills. As you probably already know, without it electricians are not able to legally carry out any electrical installations. Therefore, this really is an essential course for anyone looking to carry out such work. Don't forget we offer this course on weekends too!
AM2
It's a very busy week as our assessors as they're fully booked with assessments both in and out of our AM2 centre. If you're now at the stage of gaining your NVQ Level 3 qualification, this is something you'll need in order to have your level of competence put to the test. 2391 Courses?
Yep, our 2391 Courses (Inspection & Testing) is running this week also with a wave of new students looking to get themselves up to scratch on Inspection and Testing. Our 2391-52 offers a Level 3 syllabus and will teach you everything you need to professionally install and carry out initial verification and periodic inspection and testing on electrical installations.
Again, all of our City & Guilds Electrical Courses and Electrician Training are taught with side by side help from industry experts. When put into perspective, that's a huge amount of courses running at the Able Skills centre in Dartford. We are conveniently situated on the border of London and Kent and are even a 5 minute walk from Dartford train station.
