Our new plumbing centre is due to open this coming Monday and everyone is chipping in to help it get ready, even Able Skills director, Gary Measures is picking up a paint brush to help out!
A new group of Level 2 Plumbing students will be the first to use the facilities within our new plumbing centre on Monday (02/05/16) and we are quite sure that they will have a great experience at Able Skills.
Everyone is working extremely hard to get the centre finished for Monday and they are all doing an amazing job on the centre, which is looking great so far. This new facility will enable us to extend the scope of the plumbing training options available at Able Skills in the future!

The finishing touches are just being added to all the brand new training bays. Each training bay will allow the plumbing students to learn and try out skills that will prepare them for the real world of plumbing.
The team at Able Skills have put in a fantastic shift for the new centre to get it finished in time and they have been working very hard on all aspects from construction to the more technical aspects like gas, plumbing, duct-work and electrics.
Lucas has put in some really hard work along with his studies at the weekend!
The build of this new centre has given the opportunity to a range of NVQ students to complete some work for their portfolio. Our carpentry students have done excellently well in the new centre and have played a major part in the construction of the bays. The biggest shout out though does have to go to Electrical student Lukasz Golebiowski who has worked tirelessly undertaking various electrical installations. He seems to be here day and night whilst still managing to keep up with his weekend studies. He has an amazing work ethic and looks like he’s enjoying the opportunity too. If there are any companies out there looking to employ an electrician, this guy comes highly recommended.
