It's safe to say this weekend at Able Skills has been a busy one! In addition to our usual construction training courses, this weekend has been particularly busy amongst our Plumbing Courses, Gas Training Courses, Electrical Courses and Electrician Training.
Students undergoing the above courses have different goals as well as different backgrounds. Some have come from office jobs and even other trades, all with the ambition of making good money for themselves, becoming self employed or even simply adding to their skillset.
Plumbing Courses
If you speak to anyone within the Plumbing Industry, they'll tell you City & Guilds is the accreditation you need when it comes to real qualifications. Being able to take you around the world, there are people right now on our Plumbing Courses who intend to work in places such as Australia, America and other countries in Europe.
Students are seen above working on various skills with one of our instructors offering side by side help and guiding them as they go along. The above photo only captures one of our City & Guilds accredited centres as our other centre played host to another group of plumbing students too!
Gas Training Courses
Captured here is one of our Gas Courses in action. Students are shown testing for various leaks and can be seen working with different heating appliances in the above picture. If you're an aspiring student looking for Gas Training Courses on weekends, Able Skills' operate on a '2 weekend on 2 weekend off' basis.
This means you don't have to train every weekend and this way, it offers even more flexibility to allow you to keep your existing role while you train towards a new career. If you are interested, it's worth knowing that ours are Bpec Approved meaning we offer the standard needed throughout the Gas Industry. Please keep in mind we do offer a shorter course for anyone with existing Plumbing Qualifications.
Electrician Training
Another trade we have running this weekend are our Electrical Courses and Electrician Training. We have students in training towards their City & Guilds Level 2, their Level 3 and their 18th Edition. All three Electrical Courses complement each other as the Level 2 is the perfect start to finding work on site, the Level 3 is the perfect next step to take your learning to the next stage and of course the 18th Edition legally enable Electricians to carry out electrical installations.
Their popularity is the reason why we offer such Electrical Courses and Electrician Training on weekends and it's no wonder why we have students train with us from all over the world.
