Here at Able Skills, it's another week of hard work, helping students progress towards new careers! Plumbing courses are some of our most popular training options, plumbing is a great trade to get into, they are some of the highest earners in the trade industry, the job is always keeping you on your toes with new locations and problems to solve and generally there is a shortage of skilled workers in the industry.
The shortage means that there is an abundance of work for plumbers at the moment, there is no fear of job uncertainty or a struggle to find jobs. Additionally, as a plumber, you can eventually move into the world of Gas and even become self-employed! We host a range of Plumbing courses but the ultimate starting point for any aspiring plumber is our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing course! We have spaces available starting on the 4th of January!
Our Level 2 Plumbing course is the perfect starting point for somebody looking to break into the plumbing industry as a professional. This course, in effect, will teach you to become a plumber from scratch. The course will provide you with a range of plumbing skills covering various topics including electrical principles and processes, common plumbing processes, cold water systems, domestic hot water systems, sanitation and so on. Starting with the fundamentals like pipe-work and moving on to more advanced aspects as you progress through the 7-weeks of training as well as a grasp on the theory behind these practical tasks. What's the availability?
There are currently 5-spaces available starting on the 4th of January in the new year! If you are thinking about training towards a new career in 2021 don't worry, we will be releasing more dates for the new year soon, these are just the current dates we are taking booking for! If you want to get started sooner than January then you should consider our 'Home-Study' options. These alternative training options allow you to get started training right away; you'll replace the instructor for the theory side of the course with our 'Home-Study Pack' which will prepare you with all of the theory behind the trade as well as test questions. Once you are confident that you have got to grips the information provided you can contact us and book your 4-weeks of practical training as well as time to complete assessments. Come and pay us a visit any day of the week, we are open 7-days a week between the hours of 8:30 - 16:30! No appointment needed and no reason to call ahead, come and talk with us!
Live too far away? If you live a considerable distance from our centre here in Dartford, Kent then you may be interested in acquiring some accommodation for the duration of your electrician courses. We have our own accommodation available exclusively for our students, located just a short walk away. Accommodation can be booked for the reasonable price of £20 per night! - If you're interested make sure to contact us ahead of when your course is due to start as spaces are limited!
