There's a lack of qualified electricians
If you have ever thought about starting or switching careers to a life as an electrician, now is the time! You've probably heard about the skills-gap in the construction industry, however, the trade of electrics is being affected for a few reasons and as of right now there simply are not enough quality electricians to meet demands. Earlier this year it was estimated that an additional 15,000 fully qualified electricians will be required in the next 5-years, thanks to predicted growth in the construction industry. With more and more homes being built everyday the industry is finding it hard to meet demands for on-site electrician and because of this, electricians that are out there working are seeing huge wage increases! Finding all of the right qualifications needed to become an electrician can be confusing so we have made it simply by putting all of the electrical courses into one complete package - Gold Card Approved Electrician Package.
What's a Gold Card?
The Installation Electrician ECS gold card is for individuals who have achieved a NVQ Level 3 and can work unsupervised on the installation, commissioning and maintenance of low voltage electrical and electronic devices and appliances in a consumer's electrical installation. The gold card shows that the cardholder has completed a formal industry regulated competency based qualification, which includes technical theory with practical and competency assessments. Our Gold Card Approved Electrician Package aims to prepare you in every way possible to be successful in your NVQ and ultimately gain 'Gold Card Status' so that you can begin working on-site!
