Tiling Courses are very popular and in high demand, but we want to know, what makes you choose a new career in tiling?
We have asked a few of our students currently on tiling courses, why they chose tiling out of all the trades. Students across all trades at Able Skills have many different reasons for training and many are for a new career.
From short tiling courses to longer qualification courses, we have students coming to our centre with different goals. Some are here for a basic knowledge in tiling to complete work in their own homes or some are here to begin a new career.
Here at Able Skills, we currently have some great students in that are completing some fantastic work. We have spoken to a few of them about their courses and what the future holds for them.
James
Although he currently already has his own concrete business, James is looking to upskill. He is planning to use his three-week tiling course to expand his skills and offer more work to customers. James has also considered getting some plumbing qualifications which will help him with kitchen fitting jobs.
Hafiz
After working in a few different jobs, Hafiz decided he wanted to get a professional trade and he chose tiling. Hafiz is looking to become a professional Tiler with our NVQ Level 2 Tiling course. When he completes his course, Hafiz plans to create his own tiling business.

Paul
It is familiar territory for Paul as he completed a plastering course at Able Skills five years ago. After completing so plastering work he is back to carry out a tiling course. Paul plans to start his own tiling business using his existing plastering skills. Having travelled down from Blackpool, Paul has put a lot of commitment towards his new career.
