A new team of tiling students have been learn the ropes on our tiling courses this week. Lots of them are first time Tilers and are picking it up really well on our tiling courses.
Along with all the new students we also have students that are currently working through their tiling courses as they look to gain a qualification and start a new career in the tiling industry. Whether they are on the City & Guilds course or the NVQ qualification, they are all going to get some fantastic skills in a fantastic industry.
Tiling isn’t like a fish in water, it has a lot more to it and is quite a skill. Our Introduction to Tiling course is perfect for anyone looking to complete some DIY tiling as they cover all the basics in a five-day course.
Our introduction course has proven to be a huge success and being recognised by City & Guilds has meant the popularity has grown even more. It's a five-day course that provides our students with all the skills they need to carry out work in their own homes. Here are the tasks that are undertaken in the weeks course:
- Wall Tiling
- Floor Tiling
- Grouting
- Cleaning
- Setting up
- Cutting Tiles
- Explanation of Tools
- How to work around sockets etc.
Along with the standard five-day course, we also offer two other options which are the 3 Week DIY Tiling Course and the 4 Week DIY Tiling Course. These offer an extended range of advanced skills for our students and a chance to learn more tiling tasks.
