There are a plenty of opportunities about for aspiring tilers as the trade is currently in demand much like other construction trades right now. In the UK there is a massive shortage of skilled tradesman due to the amount of new build property developments, people are struggling to even find tilers for their home remodels and other projects...Now could be the right time to cash in on your own DIY skills and maybe think about turning your hobby into a real career! If you don't have any DIY experience but you are interested in tiling then maybe you should consider getting a taste of the skill via our Introduction to Tiling Course this will give you the fundamentals and a chance to judge whether or not you enjoy the trade and if you would like to peruse it further.
You already have some experience? If you already have some experience and you are looking to seriously switch careers to a full-time life of tiling then there is no better fully rounded experience than our City & Guilds Tiling Course - This course is 6-weeks of hands on learning We have devised this tiling course to reflect reality in the best way possible, we will attempt to cover every eventuality to the best of our ability to ensure that once you start working as a Tiler, you already know what problems can occur and how to deal with them. Our instructors have seen everything there is to see in the world of tiling and will convey the lessons they learnt during their time to you.
Can't find the time? If you would like to start training towards a new exciting career in tiling but you already have an existing job and can't find the time to commit to a 6-week course during the week, then know that we are very flexible and we actually offer this course on a weekend basis, 2-weekends a month. You can train over a series of weekends and gain the exact same City & Guilds qualification that you would have studying in the week. Hopefully this option works for you and allows you to progress towards a professional career in the trade!
