Virtual CSCS Cards changing the industry!

With technology now a vital part of keeping the world moving, the construction industry is now coming up to speed with the introduction of Virtual CSCS Cards. Alan O’Neile, Head of Communications at CSCS has described this as a ‘Game Changer’ and says it ‘will improve safety and efficiency on construction sites’.

 

The new virtual card can be generated automatically and will be accessed through the new My CSCS App. This will enable workers to get on-site quicker without having to wait for the physical card to be sent in the post. With the App and the Virtual card, this should allow employers to check for the correct qualifications and training to allow them access to the relevant work on-site.

 

The My CSCS App and Virtual card is a step in the right direction. This will allow employers to ensure all employees can carry out the job at hand. To have access the CSCS Skilled Workers card you’ll need to complete an NVQ level of qualification in your chosen trade.
