Virtual training options for Inspection & Testing Courses!
Here at Able Skills, we are working hard to get students back into our training centre at a steady pace. We will be doing this by making changes to our centre to accommodate social distances and hiring additional staff. On top of this, we are also planning on offering additional options for training courses so that we can process students through the theoretical side of qualifications remotely. Virtual training for electrician courses such as 18th edition courses and 2391-52 Inspection and Testing will be coming very soon!

What is 2391-52?
2391-52 also known as Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing is a training course for electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update of training. This course is mainly theory-based, however, candidates must successfully complete one online multiple-choice examination, comprising of 60 questions - the examination has a maximum duration of 120 minutes. This makes this course a great option for virtual training, learning the theory via an online classroom and then coming into our centre to complete assessments.
You will attend a virtual classroom delivered by one of our experienced tutors for 5-days and can then take your assessments and exams here in Dartford, Kent for 1-day once possible. We are an IET centre of excellence and we will aim to keep the quality of training at the same level of quality as our on-site training. Theory training online like this seems to be the way forward at this moment in time and a way to provide the electrical training that we have been providing for many years in a safe manner that allows aspiring and working electricians to work towards new qualifications from the comfort of their own home!

However, be aware that all of our existing options for training are still available but there will be a slight wait time for training here at our centre as we will have to bring in a low amount of students at any given time.
