CORGI is the national watchdog for gas safety in the United Kingdom. Their goal is to make people safer when they use trades people. They strive to improve standards in the industry and help you find and use safe and competent trades people.
This means a Training centre for Gas Installations must meet rigorous standards in order to be CORGI registered and allowed to provide qualified instruction to trainee Gas installers.
CORGI estimate there could be as many as 20,000 people working illegally on gas in the UK! This represents an everpresent danger to a great number of households and businessess who may not know if their gas repair or installation is at risk of causing untold harm or fatality.
