This week marked the start of yet another City & Guilds Accredited Level 2 Home Study Electrical Course. Such home study option is available on both the Level 2 and Level 3 as we intend to make gaining electrical qualifications that much easier.
Here's What You Can Expect On Your First Week On The Level 2!
On-line exams: 501 and 210
Practical Assessments:
201: to incorporate written questions and
- Mobile Scaffold Tower
- Ladders
- Stand
- Steps
- Manual handling with and without aids
Practical tasks to include:
PE/01: Preliminary PVC wiring
PE/02: PVC sheathed wiring, lighting circuits
PE/03: PVC sheathed wiring, power circuits
PE/04: PVC sheathed Steel Wire Armoured cable
Now not to worry, all of this will make a lot more sense when we send you out the exclusive Home Study Pack when you enroll.
Students are given as much time as they need to bring themselves up to scratch with the theory, before feeling ready to undergo the practical training here at Able Skills.Another huge advantage of selecting the Home Study Route is that you don't do the 4 weeks of practical work all at once.
You could do your first week one month, your second week another month and continue this process until all 4 weeks have been complete. Another common question is: Will I receive the exact same City & Guilds Qualification as the full time students?
Ofcourse, students taking the Home Study Route will definitely receive the exact same City & Guilds Qualification as those who train for 6 consecutive weeks at Able Skills
