The demand for 18th Edition courses is going crazy everywhere up and down the UK, since its introduction back in July we have seen a huge number of people sit the 18th Edition at our centre in Dartford. Every Electrician and Domestic Installer up and down the UK have been sitting courses and exams to get up to date with the changes in the 18th Edition. The 18th Edition Courses have been extremely popular here at Able Skills with students coming from all over to train with us at both weekend and through the week.

From January 1st 2019, all installations designs will need to comply with the new wiring regulations which means getting your 18th Edition course done and dusted sooner rather than later. Due to such a high demand for the course, we are currently running one if not more 18th Edition Courses each week. Being fully booked until February 2019 meant we had to schedule in some more dates for January and February. We saw that a lot of people were on the hunt for weekend courses, so we delivered and scheduled in a weekend 18th Edition Course for January.

The three-day course is allowing our students to learn the new book and get up to date with all the new changes to the wiring regulations. On the afternoon of the final day is the online multiple-choice exam here at our centre in Dartford. With it only being a few years ago since amendments were made to the 17th Edition of the wiring regulations, we have a 1-day update course for those that have completed the 17th Edition since the amendment.
