Our weekend courses are extremely popular amongst Able Skills students and is a fantastic alternative for those students wishing to continue working whilst they train. Training at the weekends has allowed many more people to retrain in one of our many trades.
We are now offering the chance for Electricians to complete the 17th Edition course and exam at our centre over two weekends. Usually this course is run from Monday - Wednesday, however, due to demand for the course at weekends we are now offering this course at weekends.
The 17th Edition course is now a mandatory part of becoming an Electrician and all Electricians are required to have this qualification. It is a course that is all theory based and is the 17th Edition of the wiring regulations. The three-day course is fully classroom based and is finished with a two-hour online exam that is taken at our centre in Dartford.
What you need for this course?
You will need a copy of the wiring regulations book and that is about it. And yourself, of course!

We are now offering weekend courses the for the 17th Edition Course.
The 17th Edition course is priced at £375 including VAT and can be secured with a £150 deposit. Our next available weekend course for the 17th Edition is Saturday 18th February. So, if you are unable to get the time off work to complete this course, then train at the weekend here at Able Skills.
