2018 has yet again been another busy year at Able Skills, especially in our electrical department. Our Electrician Courses have been booked up months in advance all year long, popularity is growing daily, and it is now that time of year where we are planning for 2019 already with full-time and weekend courses.
Our electrical courses are run across our centre with a range of different longer and short courses on offer. Whether you are looking at becoming a Domestic Electrical Installer or even a Fully Qualified Electrician, we have the courses here available. The most popularity route starts with the City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Course, this sets you on the path to becoming fully qualified as an Electrician. Once you’ve completed the level 2 qualification you will then move onto the 18th Edition, level 3 and then the NVQ and AM2.
We offer this course on a range of different pathways, starting with the full-time option. Seven weeks of training here at Able Skills covering a range of different theory and pracital work on electrical installations. Along with this we also offer two flexible routes of training, The Home Study and the extremely popular weekend training.
Home Study allows the students to complete all theory work in their own time and then come into our centre for four weeks of practical training and online exams. The four weeks of practical training can also be broken up to allow you to train with flexibility around your family and work life.
Without doubt one of the most popular training routes here at Able Skills, are the weekend electrical courses. Flexibility with this option is huge as it offers a course to fit around your life and also a structured course throughout. When we added in new dates for the City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Course at weekends, spaces tend to run out very fast. It is a hugely popular option.
For the majority of 2018 we have been heavily booked in advance for the weekend electrical courses. So much so, that we are fully booked for this year and already the beginning of 2019. Therefore, we have added in new dates from February onwards to allow more people to retrain in the electrical industry.
We expect this dates to go very quickly, so if you are interested in start a new career in 2019, please contact us today on 01322 280 202 for more information.
