Weekend Electrician training courses are available!

We have a full range of Electrician courses available here at our training centre! There has never been a better time to consider a change in direction and a new career, however, we understand that not everybody has the time to take on full-time training. We try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to how people pay and training with us, part-time training is available on most of our courses, meaning that you can take on industry-recognised qualifications on a weekend basis. We hope that this option allows people to learn and develop new skills whilst maintaining their existing job and any other prior engagements.

Where would I start?

If you are serious about kick-starting a new career and learning valuable trade skills in electrics, then there is no other option that our City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical course. This course is the ultimate starting point for a new entrant and will lay the foundation of knowledge both theoretical aspects and the practical skills for you to build upon. This course is traditionally 7-weeks in total, with our part-time option you'd be taking on the exact same training, learnings the same modules on a 2-weekends a month basis. You will learn the exact same topics, complete the same assessments and achieve the exact same CIty & Guilds qualification, the only difference is that naturally, this route will take longer.

What will I learn?

This course will effectively teach you to become an electrician from scratch. You will be taught through a real mix of both practical workshop tasks as well as classroom-based theory. The course will cover a huge range of topics from the hand-on installation skills learnt in our workshops to the theory behind the principles of electrical science. You will not only learn the skills and knowledge but gain an understanding of the industry as a whole. Our instructors are experts in the trade and will be able to not only give you the hands-on skills and a grasp on the theory but will give you a wider look at how the industry works and how to avoid the mistakes they made when they, themselves were starting out in the trade.

When can I start?

Looking to get started on this Level 2 training course? We are not fully booked until the new year, however, why not put this year behind you and start fresh in 2021. We have part-time or weekend training available on this course starting on the 3rd of April! Booking course with us is simple and can be done in a few ways. Firstly, just give us a call on 01322 280 202 - Over the phone, we can answer any questions you have and secure your place on the course. Secondly, you can come and visit our centre in person to book courses, no need to book an appointment or even call ahead, you can come and see us unannounced to nook courses in our office. Finally, you can secure your place online, simply find the course you want to take and look for the button marked 'Reserve your Space' from there you can pick a date that suits you and fill in some basic details. Come in and talk to a member of our office team, they will advise you on the best options in terms of training to achieve what you are looking to accomplish. Our office open 7-days a week between the hours of 8:30 - 16:30!

Live too far away? If you live a considerable distance from our training centre then you may be thinking about securing accommodation in the local area. We have our own accommodation available exclusively to our students that can be booked for the reasonable price of £20 per night! - If you are interested make sure to contact us ahead of your starting date as spaces are limited!
