City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course is the place to start...This course is usually a 6-week Monday to Friday comprehensive course, but over the weekend that would be completed over a series of 15-weekends! The course is designed for those who are looking to gain a qualification that allows them to find work on site. Yes, you do get a certificate for the Introduction to Plumbing course, but it's not enough to gain a CSCS Card. Leaving with the skills and knowledge to find work, a lot of students are actually able to offer private work when finishing!
You will learn how to take your first steps to become a qualified Plumber. This level 2 Plumbing qualification is perfect for those of you who do not currently work within the Plumbing industry but who are looking to change career. You will learn a large variety of different subject to prepare you for real-world work such as:
- Electrical principles and processes
- Common plumbing processes
- Coldwater systems
- Domestic hot water systems, Sanitation
- Central heating systems
- Drainage systems
Is the qualification the same?
Yes! of course, it is...you will receive the exact same level of qualification you would achieve if you took a City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course during the week the only difference in the length of time that it will take you to complete the course. But obviously, for people with existing jobs, prior commitments, kids and so on - this could be the only valid option to gain some experience and training to potencialy
