This can be found on the City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Course! The Level 2 puts students on the right path for becoming an Electrician and luckily for them, it can be completed on a weekend basis! This option is massively popular for students who work full time and can only dedicate the time towards a new career on weekends. The benefits of such course speak for themselves here as you can keep your current role and learn a new course at the same time!
How Can I Become a Gas Safe Registered Engineer?
Well have you thought about our Weekend Gas Courses? 'But I don't have any previous experience'... No worries! Our New Entrants Gas Training is designed exactly for students like you. The beauty of training courses is teaching someone how to make a living whilst doing something they enjoy. It really doesn't matter if you don't have any previous experience within gas as we take this into consideration when building your confidence and make you competent enough in your given trade to make a career for yourself for life. A lot of people are taken back when they realise they can become a registered Gas Engineer on weekends and the training they receive will surprise you even more!

Plumbing remains a very popular trade to learn and because of demand, we opened up this course for students who are only able to train on weekends due to work commits, family life and generally a better work/ life balance.
Electrical, Plumbing and Gas Courses remain in high demand across our Able Skills centre. More often than not, students who undergo Plumbing Courses, will then complete the Qualified Plumber Gas Training Package as becoming Gas Safe Registered is a natural step for them. We've also had many students complete all three trades and this can make for an exceptional skill set for anyone looking to offer all three services. But just remember, you don't have to enroll onto these courses on a full time basis - weekend training is available!
