Here at Able Skills we run a range of different Plumbing courses. All the way from absolute beginner training to advanced courses. Everybody has to start somewhere, if you are interested in learning a trade but you're not sure which is for you, why not try one of our introductory courses. They are 5-days long and will teach you a good amount of the fundamentals and provide you with some valuable experience guided by our professional instructors. What will I learn?
This 5-day introductory course will give you a solid understanding of the basics, enough to be able to carry out DIY around the house to a good level. The course will aim to give you confidence in these basics and some close to real world experience. Our Introductory Plumbing course has been recognised by City & Guilds as a comprehensive introduction to domestic plumbing and as such, they have accredited the course with a certificate upon completion outlining that you can carry out the fundamentals to a good standard.
However, if you are seriously considering a career in plumbing then you should be looking at our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing course - This 6-week training programme will teach you to become a professional plumber from scratch. You'll be taught through a mix of both classroom-based theory lessons and hands-on practical experience. Our instructors are experts in the trade and will be there to guide you through a range of plumbing skills covering various topics including Electrical principles and processes, Common plumbing processes, Cold water systems, Domestic hot water systems, Sanitation, Central heating systems and Drainage systems.

If you live outside of the local area then you may be interested in booking accomodation for the duration of your training with us. We have our own accomodation available exclusively for our students, that can be booked for the reasonable price of just £20 per night! - If you are interested make sure to contact us ahead of your courses' start date as spaces are limited!
