What's included in this Advanced Package?
Introduction to Basic Domestic Electrics
This is the ideal starting point on the journey to becoming a competent person. The course is delivered using a blended learning approach, mixing theory and practical, keeping you engaged at all times. The course will give you the practical basics and increase you confidence in the fundamentals!
18th Edition
18th Edition is an essential for anybody working with or around electrics. Our particular 5-day course is aimed at giving you the ability and understanding in terms of how to navigate the latest wiring regulations effectively. The course is entirely classroom-based, focusing on gaining familiarity with the layout, content and application of the regulations. Also known as the IET Wiring Regulations, these are the definitive standards for the electrical industry in respect of the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems.
Inspection & Testing
This qualification is an introduction to the inspection, testing and certification of new electrical installations. This skill is a fundamental of the electricians arsenal, which is why it is included in this package...This Inspection and testing qualification not only helps you to fully understand testing, it also provides you with a qualification and certificate to show you are competent to undertake the work.
Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing
This 5-day City & Guilds qualification has been developed to provide candidates with the necessary skills to undertake initial verification and commissioning. This award gives an opportunity for individuals to develop and / or enhance their knowledge and skills in Inspection & testing of single and three phase low voltage installations.
What's it like to take this package?
Well in total this package of electrical courses can be completed over period of 5-weeks, which is 25-days coming into our facility Monday - Friday between 8:30 - 16:30 . If you are seriously considering a career as a domestic installer, then there is no better training program out there, this course will give you complete knowledge and confidence to register with a competent persons scheme and edge closer to that role. Our instructors are experts in the trade, so whilst studying with us, don't be afraid to ask questions, seek help if you are confused and so on that is what you are here for to learn and they are equally here to teach.
