What is the average salary for Plumber jobs?
Here at Able Skills we take pride in our ability to turn novices into professional working plumbers through our plumbing courses. Plumbing is actually one of our most popular trades here at our centre, the industry is not going anywhere and in fact, there has never been a better time to join this particular industry. A lack of skilled workers is the most pressing concern of the modern plumbing and heating installer workforce, however, inadvertently this 'skills gap' is actually increasing the average salary of plumbers and it currently sits around £32,000-a-year!
Obviously this is not the limit when if comes to earnings as a plumber, actually there is no limit. Especially when aiming to work on a self-employed basis there is no roof to the work and earnings that you can generate from taking charge of your trade in this way! a plumber has even reported that he earns £210,000-a-year replacing washers, unblocking toilets and fixing boilers working around 58 hours a week.

If you have little to no experience then you may want to fist begin with our Introduction to Plumbing courses, this 5-day training course, will help you to become familiar and confident in the fundamentals of the trade. If you have some knowledge/experience or you have already completed this course then the next logical step would be our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course - This course is the best way to start of the path towards becoming a qualified Plumber. This industry recognised entry level 2 will be your starting point. You will start with the very basics and progress to a comprehensive understanding of domestic plumbing covering both theory and practical to enable you to work legitimately and effectively as a Plumber.
