Inspection and Testing is a vital skill for working electricians. It is the process of assessing an electrical installation to know if it is working as it should and is safe to use. Our City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing Course is very popular for experienced electricians who require an update on the topic and electricians in training.
The course is 6-days in total and is mostly theory based. The instructor will go through everything that you will be expected to know about Inspection and Testing on both new and existing installations. After you have gained a good understand of the theory, you will take on one online multiple-choice examination, comprising of 60 questions as well as a written assignment and finally a practical assignment.
The practical test will put everything you have learnt together. The test will involve a full Initial verification and a Periodic inspection (combined within the same assessment) of a three-phase electrical installation, including completion of all appropriate documentation.
