What's going on in Plumbing this week?
Here at Able Skills we teach a range of different trades, one of our mot popular is the skill of plumbing. We teach students to the best of our abilities to prepare them for more advanced courses and or working out in the industry - This week is no different with another group taking on our Introduction to Plumbing Course. Many of these students will be looking towards enrolling onto our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course upon completion of this introductory program.
The reason that we recommend that you take our introductory course before the City & Guilds 6-week course is simple. We want to provide you with the absolute basics before hand. Firstly, so that everybody begins on the course at roughly the same level and that nobody is struggling in anyway. Secondarily for you to get a hands-on feel for the trade to see if it is definitely something that you are interested in taking on full-time and possibly as a career there is no use starting a 6-week course if it turns out you don't enjoy learning about the subject, so the introductory course gives you an opportunity to feel it out for yourself.

If you are looking to get involved with either of these courses then note that we have availability at the beginning of the new year! For the Introduction to Plumbing Course we have spaces starting in March & April 2020! If it's the City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course you're looking at then be aware that we have spaces starting April 2020! Please be aware that both of these courses are very popular and these spaces will go quickly, we will be releasing dates for the rest of the new year shortly so keep updates via our social media our give us a call!

The trade is currently struggling with having the volume of skilled workers needed. desperate need for qualified and highly skilled Plumbers that are able to carry out a range of different plumbing work across the UK equals benefits for those currently working in the industry, including increased earnings and constant work. One big reason that people take up trades like plumbing is that you can always eventually become self-employed, which is a very attractive prospect to people entering this industry - being able to dictate your own hours and so on is a great way to take control of your job, earnings and lifestyle!
