This is a 7 Week (35 days) course and the cost is £2495.00 including vat.

You will learn specific aspects of painting & decorating from:

  • Health & Safety
  • Painting Techniques
  • Wallpapering
  • Applying Decorative Effects
  • Skirting
  • Painting a Panelled Door

These first 5 weeks will get you a C&G (City & Guilds) 6219

The final 2 weeks will prepare you with practical experience!

2 Weeks – Preparation for NVQ level 2 Units:

  • Erect and Dismantle Access Working Platforms
  • Prepare Surfaces For Painting/Decorating
  • Apply Paint Systems by Brush and Roller

Once you have completed your 7 weeks of intensive, hands-on painting and decorating training, Able Skills will register you for NVQ level 2 under our centre free of charge!

Additionally, we will provide you will a start-up portfolio, which will include evidence and assessment sheets so that once you start undertaking work, you can gather evidence for the painting and decorating work from the outset.

The whole point of this 7-week Painting & Decorating course is to provide you with an underpinning City & Guilds qualification and a very in-depth understanding of what is required to gain an NVQ. NVQ assessment must be within a 100-mile radius of DA1 5BS.
