Britons who have successfully completed an electrical course may be interested in attending an upcoming event that will focus on health and safety in the construction industry.
According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the meeting will take place at Wynard Park in Billingham on April 28th and will coincide with the launch of a new building sector awareness group - Working Well Together North East.
The Working Well Together campaign runs between 30 and 40 events across the UK every year.
And the Wynard Park gathering will aim to raise awareness of important health and safety issues within the industry and reduce the number of fatal accidents that occur on sites around the country.
Some 2,800 people have died from injuries sustained as a result of construction work in the last 25 years.
Also included at the event will be a free exhibition, where industry professionals will be able to meet distributors and suppliers of services, products and solutions.
