Industry professionals who have taken an electrical or plumbing training course and want to widen their knowledge might benefit from a conference taking place on April 27th.
The 2010 National Conference - Resilience and Building Services: How to secure the future has been organised by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and aims to offer insight into how best to plan for commercial resilience.
"It will provide information on the political, legal, environmental and technical changes which will have significant impacts in the next two to five years," the CIBSE stated.
With an additional focus on energy use, it could be that electricians and plumbers are interested in what the guest speakers have to say.
Speakers will include Professor David Gann, head of innovation and entrepreneurship at Imperial College and will take place at the British Museum, London.
Another event which may interest industry professionals is the Green specification and new technologies session, taking place on February 22nd.
