World’s largest cricket stadium under construction!

Work on the Motera cricket stadium in New Delhi, which is set to overtake the Melbourne’s “G” as the largest in the world, is 90% complete and on course to be finished by January! The huge scale project is the first of its kind with a capacity of 110,000 an absolutely astonishing number...It will also offer LED floodlights for the first time in India, as well as lavish corporate and media facilities, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool - construction began in 2017 and is coming to end, hopefully at the beginning of the new year!

Obviously, this is far from home, but huge scale projects like this are always propping up across the country - they are very interesting to become involved with. If you have no experience whatsoever, but you would like to get stuck in with some construction training, for example, our Bricklaying courses then we first recommend that you take an Introduction to Bricklaying course; this 5-day course will give you the foundation and basic understanding of the trade...If you have completed it or you have had some experience in the past then you can jump straight in with our NVQ Level 2 Bricklaying course get all the experience you need during this 8-week class and be prepared for an NVQ - National Vocational Qualification, getting your CSCS card and getting employment working on-site!
