This qualification is a real mix of both practical workshop tasks as well as classroom based theory. We will provide you with the relevant text book and hand-outs to support the course which are yours to keep! We have a dedicated computer suite in which you will undertake the mandatory online exams and our practical training bays are equipped with training boards set to exceed specific City & Guilds requirements and all tools and materials are readily available for all of your electrical requirements. We also have an abundance of up to date test equipment for you to use throughout the training course. We will take you as close as we can to ‘reality’ to prepare you for your next steps within the electrical industry.
This course is available full time over 6 weeks but is also available using weekend training. Weekends are structured on a 2 weekend on and then 2 weekend off basis which still leaves you time to do other ‘non work’ or ‘non study’ related activities. We will supply you with access to C&G Smartscreen system which is a supporting online learning resource as well as the level 3 C&G text book which supports the course however, we do also recommend that you have a copy of the OnSite Guide and also a copy of the current Wiring Regulations. Some small aspects of the work associated with a level 3 course can be completed electronically so you may want to bring a lap top along with you.
We offer interest free payment plans and we also have accommodation if you feel that we are just that little bit too far away from you to travel daily.
We have great facilities and instructors and we welcome all visitors to the centre so if you want to investigate your investment a bit more, come along and see us – no appointment is required and we are open 7 days every week.
Please be aware that we require you to hold a level 2 Electrical Installation qualification: 2365-02 or 2330-01 or EAL Electrical Installation (600/6724/X) in order to join us for level 3.
