This 5 day Intermediate Plastering course is ideally suited to those of you who have completed our 5 day Introductory Plastering course and want to take things a step further. This particular plastering course will improve your speed and technique in skimming walls and ceilings, will enhance your rendering skills and also teach you the Dot & Dab method, all with the aim of teaching you to plaster to perfection. The course will cover:
Our total hands on approach guarantees that throughout your training time at Able Skills you will be continually plastering. Having years of experience in teaching construction skills, we know that this is the best method of teaching available. You will gain full knowledge of all of the plastering stages required and this will provide you with the ability and confidence to tackle plastering in more complex areas.
If from having spent 5 or 10 days with Able Skills you feel that you would like to go on and gain Plastering qualifications, we will adjust your training time and fees to accommodate for some of the time you have already spent with us.
This is a hands-on, practical plastering course and you will be involved at every stage and will be participating throughout. It is therefore recommended you bring suitable clothing and for your own safety, steel capped footwear is essential.

There are a variety of courses available for you to move on to after this course, everything from specialist areas like Rendering and Dry Lining to plastering at qualification level – something that we do recommend you consider if you are looking to sustain a career in the industry.
All of our courses take place at our dedicated training centre in Dartford, Kent. The centre is easily accessible by road, being just 10 minutes from junction 1a on the M25. We are only a short walk from Dartford train station which is served by frequent trains taking 35 minutes from central London. For anyone travelling from further away, we have our own accommodation available at only £25 per night.
We are open Mon - Fri and 2 weekends per month for training and visitors so if you would like to find out more about this course or about Able Skills, please feel free to pop in, no appointment necessary.
